Dentures & Partial Dentures

A denture is a removable dental appliance created to fill the spaces in your mouth where teeth used to be.  When you lose teeth, your mouth needs something to help hold things together so that your gums and jaw do not begin to lose their form and function.  There are partial dentures and complete dentures.  Partial dentures are created for gaps in your teeth to prevent the remaining teeth from shifting out of their place. Complete dentures are for patients who are missing all of their teeth.  On occasion, dentures will need to be repaired or relined due to regular wear and tear. A denture realign is the process of providing a denture with a new more comfortable fit without creating an entirely new denture from scratch.
