A Family-Led Dental Practice

Strobel Family Dental has been caring for Rexburg families since Dr. Dirk Strobel opened the practice after graduating from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1985. More than 35 years later, over half the patients here span multiple generations. Parents who trusted Dr. Dirk with their care now bring their own children through the same door. That kind of continuity is not something a new practice can offer. It is built one family at a time, over decades, by showing up consistently and treating people the way you would want your own family treated.

Dr. Dirk Strobel (Idaho Dental License: D-1877) and Dr. Heber Strobel (Idaho Dental License: D-5516) work side by side, combining decades of experience with modern training. Dr. Heber Strobel brings modern training home to Rexburg, working alongside his father to care for families with skill and compassion.

Dr. Heber Strobel is proud to care for families in the same Rexburg community where he was born and raised. From an early age, he knew he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and continue the family dental practice built on trust and long-term relationships. After completing his training, he chose to return home to serve the families who rely on Strobel Family Dental for honest, dependable care.

Dr. Strobel graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, where he received advanced training in restorative dentistry and prosthodontics. He was awarded the Removable Prosthodontics Award of Excellence and the 2023 Hanau Best of the Best Excellence in Prosthodontics Award for his clinical skill and knowledge. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and focuses on helping patients restore comfort, function, and confidence in their smiles.

Dr. Strobel is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Idaho State Dental Association. Strobel Family Dental was recognized as Best Dentist in 2022, reflecting the trust of the local community, and the practice is also a member of the National Federation of Independent Business. Outside the office, Dr. Strobel values service, family, and community, and looks forward to caring for Rexburg families for many years to come.

Dr. Dirk Strobel has cared for Rexburg families for more than 35 years, building a practice rooted in trust, ethics, and long-term relationships. He began his academic journey at Ricks College, continued at Idaho State University, and graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1985. From the start of his career, Dr. Strobel focused on providing honest care and treating patients with the same respect he would expect for his own family.

While in dental school, Dr. Strobel received an American College of Dentists award for being the student who best demonstrated ethics and integrity. That recognition reflects the values that have guided his entire career. Today, more than half the patients at Strobel Family Dental span multiple generations. Parents who trusted Dr. Dirk years ago now bring their own children and grandchildren to the same chair. That kind of continuity is not built through marketing. It is built through decades of keeping your word.

Today, Dr. Strobel continues to practice alongside his son, blending decades of experience with modern techniques and training. Patients appreciate his calm approach, clear explanations, and steady presence. He remains committed to serving the Rexburg community with the same principles that shaped the practice from the beginning, honesty, consistency, and care that puts people first.
