Doctor Dirk Strobel’s greatest influence in becoming a dentist was his oldest brother, Joe.  Joe had the greatest desire to be a dentist, but he died tragically in a plane crash. They had a plan to practice together and Joe would help Doctor Strobel to become established. Doctor Strobel became a dentist to compassionately help other people in need and to honor his brother’s memory. Doctor Strobel’s philosophy is that helping other people is more important than any monetary gain.

He is fond of saying that he has the best wife and children in the world—8 boys and a daughter. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time in Island Park where he spent his summers as a child building roads and digging wells with his dad and brothers. Doctor Strobel is a proud member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and spends his free time serving those in need and doing genealogy.

I’m living the dream! Since I was young I have dreamed of working alongside my father. I recently graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans.  While in dental school I was awarded the  “Removable Prosthodontics Award of Excellence” for outstanding work in the discipline of Removable Prosthodontics and the 2023 “Hanau Best of the Best Excellence in Prosthodontics Award” for demonstrating outstanding knowledge and skills in the study and practice of Prosthodontics.  I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and helping people feel confident with their smiles.  I was born and raised in Rexburg and there’s no place like home. I love Rexburg and am excited to have the opportunity to work here.  I proudly served a mission in Yekaterinburg, Russia, and spend my free time serving in the church.  I look forward to getting to know you and your family.

Kristen recently relocated from bustling Houston to serene Idaho, savoring the embrace of cooler weather. She finds fulfillment in interacting with patients and enjoys the opportunity to connect and converse with them. In her free time, she likes to explore the culinary arts, take leisurely strolls, discover new destinations, immerse herself in literature, indulge in classic cinema, and spending quality time with loved ones. 

Belle first interned for Doctor Strobel more than 19 years ago and stayed on afterward. Belle became an assistant under the influence of a friend. Belle was convinced by her friend to apply to Dental Assistant school and they had plans to complete it together. Her friend then dropped out before classes started. Belle did not want to lose her money and so she stayed in. Belle enjoys being a help to patients and getting to know them better.

Hyegi practiced as a hygienist in South Korea for many years before immigrating to the United States.  She became a hygienist because she always felt happy and satisfied helping people have clean teeth.  She loves being a hygienist. Sadly, the US government’s rules will only let her act as an assistant. She met the love of her life in Idaho and is very happy here.  She only misses a lot of things about Korea such as her friends and family that she left behind.  Buts she loves Idaho because everyone is so nice here and we have steak and snowboarding.
